I have been a first grade teacher for 14 years. This year my five year old daughter is in kindergarten just two doors down from me. Today the entire kindergarten came to school in their PJ's for Polar Express Day. They drank hot chocolate and made gingerbread houses with their mommies. They laughed together. They played together and talked about where their elf on the shelf was this morning and what Santa was going to bring them next week. This is what five year old BABIES should be doing. WHY????? I'm am so sick and angry right now. These poor parents can't even go and hold their babies one last time because they have to leave them lying their alone to investigate...I just can't stop crying tonight :(
